Croatia

My country for this semester is Croatia. It is located in the northwestern part of the Balkan Peninsula, being one of the smallest yet  but it is highly geographically diverse "crescent-shaped country" (Britannica). Its capital is Zagreb which is located in the north of the country. The present-day is composed of the historical regions that where ruled for centuries by a variety of the foreign.
