Croatia Tectonic Plate Boundary
Croatia is situated in a collision zone that is part of the Mediterranean convergence zone, collision zone between Africa and Eurasian tectonic plate ( Geomsat). Croatia is on a major fault line that extends from the split in the south to Karlovac in the north ( how to prep for earthquake.) In the year 2020 is was a vary prolific (meaning that they where constant and in large numbers) for earthquakes for Croatia and especially in the northern part of the country that is being surrendering Zagreb. Not all the buildings in Coratia are earthquake proof but it wasn't until the 1960's that the building needed to be earthquake proof.
This was a good tectonic setting reflection. Looking forward to what you'll discover in the upcoming weeks!
